Terms of Service

These terms of service are available in Japanese only.

Article 1 (Application)

These terms set forth the conditions for using Niji Memorial (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"). Users agree to these terms when using the Service.

Article 2 (Accounts)

  1. Login via Google or X (Twitter) is required to create or edit memorials.
  2. Users are responsible for managing their own accounts and must not allow third parties to use them.
  3. The Service considers any actions performed through a logged-in account as actions of the account holder.

Article 3 (Prohibited Activities)

  1. Activities that violate laws, public order, or are related to criminal acts.
  2. Activities that infringe on the rights of other users or third parties (including copyright, portrait rights, and privacy).
  3. Activities that interfere with or may interfere with the operation of the Service.

Article 4 (Content)

  1. Copyright of content posted by users (photos, text, etc.) belongs to the user.
  2. The Service may use posted content for the purpose of providing, improving, and promoting the Service.
  3. Users must not post content that falls under prohibited activities.
  4. The Service may delete content deemed to violate prohibited activities without prior notice.
  5. The Service is not obligated to back up posted content. Please keep important data yourself.

Article 5 (Changes and Termination of Service)

The Service may change or terminate its content without prior notice to users. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice before termination.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Service makes no guarantees regarding completeness, accuracy, or usefulness.
  2. The Service operator assumes no liability for damages arising from use of the Service.
  3. The Service assumes no liability for temporary interruptions due to server failures, maintenance, etc.

Article 7 (Handling of Personal Information)

Personal information handling in the Service shall be as specified in the Privacy Policy.

Article 8 (Changes to Terms)

The Service may change these terms as necessary. Changed terms take effect upon publication on the Service.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Japanese law. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these terms.
